Volleyball
Warsaw at Carroll
Warsaw volleyball fell to Carroll for the second time this season on Tuesday, falling 3-0 (21-25, 10-25, 17-25) on the road. The Lady Tigers are now 16-6 this season.
CeCe Goode led the team with seven kills. Ellie Hepler had two aces and 20 digs. Madison Branam did a little bit of everything, finishing with four kills, seven assists and six digs. Avary Hoeppner finished with 10 assists.
Warsaw is on the road Thursday night against Wawasee.
Tippecanoe Valley at Knox
Tippecanoe Valley remains undefeated in conference play after defeating Knox 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-14) on the road. The Lady Vikings are now 13-9 this season, 6-0 in the Indiana Northern State Conference.
Betty Shepherd had 12 kills, while Mackaylie Costello and Emma Patrick each added four aces. Patrick also contributed 10 digs. Avery Wagoner had 21 assists.
Valley is on the road at Bremen Thursday night.
Wabash at Whitko
Whitko was on the losing end of a conference match with Wabash Tuesday evening, falling 3-0 (17-25, 22-25, 17-25) in straight sets. The Lady ‘Cats are now 6-12 this season, 2-4 in the Three Rivers Conference.
No statistics were available for Whitko in the game. The team plays its next game Thursday at Southern Wells.
Triton at Winamac
Triton picked up a straight-set victory over Winamac Tuesday evening, winning 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-13) on the road. The Lady Trojans are now 18-87 this season, 5-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Mya Davis had 15 kills and three aces. Allie Westafer had 15 assists. Sierra Hawley added eleven digs, while Savannah Hawley contributed seven blocks.
Triton is at the Central Noble Tournament on Saturday.
Boys Soccer
Lakeland Christian at Manchester
Lakeland Christian defeated Manchester for the first time in 12 years Tuesday evening, winning 3-0 on the road. LCA improves to 9-4 this season, while the Squires fall to 6-5-2.
Aiden Yoder got the scoring started for the Cougars with a penalty kick in the seventh minute Jashawn Zielasko scored the next two goals to pick up a brace and give the game its final scoreline. Evan McLaughlin had seven saves for Manchester. LCA faces off against Tippecanoe Valley at Grace College Thursday, while Manchester takes on Maconaquah Monday.
