Volleyball
Columbia City at Warsaw

Warsaw picked up a big nonconference win at the Tiger Den Tuesday night, defeating Columbia City 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-10) at home. The Lady Tigers are now 15-5 this season.
Maggie Hollon had 15 kills, while CeCe Goode had five aces. Avary Hoeppner had 19 assists, while Madison Branam had 15.
Warsaw is on the road at Plymouth Thursday night.
LaVille at Tippecanoe Valley
Tippecanoe Valley picked up a conference win Tuesday night, defeating LaVille 3-0 (25-15, 25-7, 25-15) at home. The Lady Vikings are now 8-8 this fall, 3-0 in the Indiana Northern State Conference.
Mackaylie Costello had 15 kills, while Gaby Gonzalez had eleven digs. Avery Wagoner added 23 assists and 8 aces, both team highs.
Valley is at Jimtown Thursday evening.
Manchester at Rochester
Manchester remains undefeated in conference play after defeating Rochester 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-19) on the road. The Lady Squires are now 14-2 this season, 4-0 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Elizabeth Renz had 16 kills, while Ava Felgar added 12. Marley Bellinger had 15 digs and Myla Crozier had 13. Peyton Ream had 39 assists.
Manchester is at Lewis Cass Thursday night.
Triton at Elkhart Christian
Triton lost a tough four-set game to Elkhart Christian Tuesday night, falling 3-1 (26-28, 23-25, 25-23, 20-25) on the road. The Lady Trojans are now 13-6 this fall.
Avery Viers had 15 kills, while Allie Westafer had 22 assists. Mya Davis had three aces, and Sierra Hawley added 22 digs.
Triton hosts Bethany Christian Thursday.
Boys Soccer
Warsaw at NorthWood

Warsaw picked up a massive conference win Tuesday night, defeating NorthWood 7-0 on the road. The Tigers are now 8-1-1 this season, 3-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
No statistics were available for Warsaw. The Tigers will take on Fort Wayne Carroll on Saturday.
Huntington North at Manchester
Manchester picked up a nice nonconference win Tuesday evening, defeating Huntington North 2-0 at home. The Squires are now 6-4-2 this season.
Both Manchester goals were scored by Isaiah Acosta. Caleb Sautter and Wyatt Young each had an assist. Evan McLaughlin made 12 saves in net.
The Squires host Lakeland Christian Tuesday evening.
Cross Country
Warsaw at Northern Lakes Conference Invitational

The Warsaw Lady Tigers battled fiercely in a nail-biting race, finishing a close second to Goshen with a final score of 30-26. After the second round of NLC Conference duals, the Tigers hold an impressive 12-2 record in the conference standings. Leading the charge once again was Sammi Rastrelli, finishing in 19:48.01, followed by Ella Laput at 20:23.8, Eden Metz with a 20:48.99, Hannah Fisher crossing the line at 21:29.71, and Bryce Eherenman rounding out the top five at 21:48.07.
The Warsaw Boys Cross Country team wrapped up the NLC regular season with a 12-2 record, giving them the chance to share the NLC Championship title with Northridge on October 5th. Leading the way for the Tigers was Junior Jackson Gackenheimer, finishing in 1st place with a time of 15:53.19. He was followed by Senior Tyler Mimnaugh in 3rd place (16:14.81), Senior Noah McPhail in 9th place (16:45.57), Senior Rick Orr in 16th (17:00.54), Senior Alex Schrock in 20th (17:22.91), Senior Clark Meridew in 24th (17:30.90), and Junior Sam Allebach in 31st (17:44.44).

Warsaw, Homestead Duel To Scoreless Draw
Homestead and Warsaw met at the Tiger Soccer Complex Wednesday night in a battle of two of the top teams in the northern half of the state. The game was ultra competitive with both sides putting together plenty of chances, but no goals, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie.

County Issues Burn Ban Effective Immediately
Kosciusko County issued a burn ban effective at noon Wednesday. Neighboring Marshall and Fulton counties already had a ban in place.
