Volleyball
Tippecanoe Valley at Bremen
Tippecanoe Valley began conference play with a win Tuesday night, defeating Bremen 3-1 (25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19). The Lady Tigers are now 6-8 this season, 1-0 in the Indiana Northern State Conference.
Mackaylie Costello had 16 kills while Gaby Gonzalez had 15 digs. Avery Wagoner had 32 assists in the win, as well as four aces.
Valley faces John Glenn on the road Thursday night.
Wawasee at Bethany Christian
Wawasee picked up a dominant nonconference win Tuesday evening, defeating Bethany Christian 3-0 on the road. The Lady Warriors are now 4-5 this fall.
Mackenzie Hackleman had eight kills and three aces, while Addison Abel had 12 assists. Josie Sabin had six digs, and Danika Miller had two blocks.
Wawasee is on the road at Goshen Thursday.
Manchester at Columbia City
Manchester’s fantastic season continued Tuesday night, as the team defeated Columbia City 3-1 (25-28, 26-24, 13-25, 25-19). The Lady Squires are now 12-2 this season.
Elizabeth Renz had 13 kills in the win, while Ava Felgar had seven. Myla Crozier had three aces. Crozier and Hadley West each had 15 kills. Peyton Ream had 23 assists.
Manchester plays at Whitko Thursday night.
Triton at North Judson
Triton suffered a rare loss Tuesday night, falling 3-0 (18-25, 22-25, 21-25) on the road to North Judson. The Lady Trojans are now 9-3 this season, 5-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Avery Viers had 15 kills, while Clara Doll had 14 assists. Mya Davis had three aces and nine kills, and Sierra Hawley added 16 digs. Irem Reichardt had five blocks.
Triton hosts Whtiko Saturday.
Boys Soccer
Mishawaka at Warsaw
It was a huge night for the Warsaw offense Tuesday evening, as the Tigers scored nine goals on their way to a 9-0 win over Mishawaka. Warsaw is now 7-1-1 this fall, 2-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Noah Caughell scored twice, as did Callen O’Brien. Mydin Burgher scored, as did Finn Bailey, Diego Cuazhuo, Ashton Ault and Andy Vass.
The Tigers are at home Saturday morning against Huntington North.
NorthWood at Wawasee
Wawasee battled hard, but was unable to come away with the win against NorthWood Tuesday evening, falling 2-1 at home. The Warriors are now 1-6-1 this season, 1-1 in the NLC.
Quentin Taylor had a goal in the game. Landon Smith made seven saves.
Wawasee is at home against Lakeland.
Manchester at Rochester
Manchester remains undefeated in conference play after defeating Rochester 3-0 on the road Tuesday. The Squires are now 5-2-2 this fall, 3-0 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Wyatt Schroll had a goal while Isaiah Acosta had two as well as an assist. Caleb Sautter and Wyatt Young had assists as well. Evan McLaughlin had 10 saves.
Manchester is on the road at Eastbrook Thursday.

Warsaw at Mishawaka
Warsaw got its offense going Tuesday night, defeating Mishawaka 8-0 on the road. The Lady Tigers are now 4-3-1 this season, 2-0-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Lola Pepper scored three goals for a hat trick while Haidyn Elliott and Amy Escutia each scored two.
Warsaw faces off against Concord on the road Thursday.
Wabash at Manchester
Manchester picked up its first conference win of the season Tuesday, defeating Wabash 5-0 at home. The Lady Squires are now 3-5 this fall, 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.
No stats were available for Manchester. The team plays Eastbrook at home Thursday.
Boys Tennis
Warsaw at Northridge
Warsaw picked up a close victory over Northridge Tuesday, winning 3-2.
No. 2 singles player Ted Grandon won 6-4, 6-4. The No. 1 doubles pairing of Drew Ryser and Henry Norton won 6-0, 6-3, while the No. 2 duo of Luke Smith and Miles Rager won 6-2, 6-0.
Warsaw hosts Fort Wayne Canterbury Thursday.

Tew Resigns as Warsaw Softball Coach
Samantha Tew has resigned as head coach of Warsaw softball.
In her letter of resignation, she says she will remain in teaching and will be putting more time and energy into teaching and her family.
Tew has been the coach for the last two seasons.
