Ruth Ann Funk, 92, rural Akron, died at 8:13 a.m. May 14, 2024, at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Roann, to Palmer and Maxine Needham Bickel. Ruth married Walter D. Funk on Sept. 9, 1950, in Oswego.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 19 at Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester St., Akron, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 20 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mandy Nellans officiating. Burial will be in Akron IOOF Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron Church of God, P.O. Box 66, Akron, IN 46910.
