Baseball
Warsaw at Northridge

Warsaw got back into the win column Wednesday night, defeating Northridge 3-1 on the road. The Tigers are now 7-5 this season, 4-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Kellan Bailey went 1-3 in the game, driving in a run and scoring another. Cohen Heady also crossed the plate for Warsaw, going 2-3 on the day. Brandt Martin gave up one run on four hits in six innings on the mound, striking out four.
The Tigers have a big home game against Concord Friday night.
Plymouth at Wawasee
Wawasee was able to pick up its first conference win of the season Wednesday, defeating Plymouth 4-3 at home. The Warriors are now 5-5 this season, 1-4 in the NLC.
Ty Brooks was outstanding on the mound, tying a school record with 15 strikeouts in 6.2 innings pitched while giving up just three hits. Brooks also led the Warriors with two hits and added a run scored. Kane Dukes had a hit and an RBI.
Wawasee is at home on Friday against Goshen.
Manchester at Rochester
Manchester is still undefeated in the Three Rivers Conference on Wednesday, defeating Rochester 9-5 on the road. The Squires are now 12-2-1 this spring, 3-0 and in first place in the TRC.
Reiss Gaerte and Evan Estep both drove in two runs, with Gaerte adding two hits, one being a home run, and three runs scored. Gavin Martin drove in a run on one hit. Harper Sturtsman struck out seven in a complete game victory, giving up four earned runs.
Manchester is on the road against Fort Wayne Wayne on Friday.
Whitko at Cass
Whitko picked up its second TRC win this week on Wednesday, defeating Lewis Cass 7-2 on the road. The Wildcats improved to 5-6-2 this season, and are now fourth in the TRC at 2-1.
Easton Grable had a huge day at the plate for Whitko, driving in four runs on two hits and scoring a fifth. Riley Harman scored three runs, had two hits and drove in a fourth. Kaden Ciaccia-Long also had a two-hit day with an RBI. Isaiah Cripe was fantastic on the mound, striking out 14 and giving up two runs.
Whitko is on the road at Adams Central Friday night.
Softball
Warsaw at Northridge

Warsaw was unable to pick up a win on the road Wednesday evening, falling 9-2 on the road to Northridge. The Lady Tigers are now 1-9 this season, 1-4 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Kali Ousley drove in a run on one hit while Katie O’Dell added an RBI on a sacrifice fly. She also struck out three on the mound. Nekiana Hamilyon and Emma Keyes each added a hit.
Warsaw returns home Friday for another conference game against Concord.
Knox at Tippecanoe Valley
Tippecanoe Valley was unable to pick up a win in a pitchers’ duel on Wednesday evening, dropping its nonconference home game 1-0 to Knox. The Lady Vikings are now 4-5 this season.
Dalynne Bussard was masterful on the mound in the loss, striking out 14 batters while giving up five hits and just one run. Mackaylie Costello had two hits for Valley. Kahlyn Manns and Anna Shock both had hits as well.
The Lady Vikings are at home against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Saturday.
Wawasee at Plymouth
Wawasee was on the losing end of a tight game on Wednesday, falling 9-8 at home to Plymouth. The Lady Warriors are now 7-6 this spring, 2-3 in the NLC.
Evelyn Duncan hit a home run and drove in four runs for Wawasee. Makayla Holder also had a nice night at the plate, driving in two runs and scoring two more. Jaclynn Worrell and Natalya Holder each had two hits. Haylee Allen struck out five on the mound.
The Lady Warriors are on the road against Goshen Friday night.
Manchester at Rochester
Manchester is still undefeated in the Three Rivers Conference after picking up a 6-2 win over Rochester Wednesday. The Lady Squires are now 7-6 and are in first place in the TRC at 3-0.
Manchester scored four runs in the top of the seventh to break things open. Ava Sautter had three hits and drove in a run. Paxton Baker had two hits, one being a triple, and two RBIs. Karsyn Kamphues also had a two-hit night. Molly Schannep struck out two in 6.1 innings, giving up two earned runs in the win.
The Lady Squires are on the road Monday evening against Peru.
Whitko at Cass
Whitko was able to pick up a win in a close game on Wednesday, defeating Lewis Cass 5-4 on the road. The Lady ‘Cats are now 4-8 this season, 2-1 in the TRC.
Isabelle Harman had a hit and two RBIs. Cassidy Skinner had two hits and a run driven in. She also struck out 14 on the mound while giving up three earned runs. Kaylee Adkins also added two hits of her own.
Whitko is on the road against Southwood Monday night.
Boys Track and Field
Warsaw/Concord at Northridge

The Warsaw Tigers continued their undefeated NLC season by racking up two more conference wins against unbeaten powerhouse teams from the Northridge Raiders and the Concord Minutemen. Warsaw pulled off a 85-47 win over the Raiders and a narrow 67-65 victory over the Minutemen.
Jackson Gackenheimer took first place in both the 1600M and the 3200M races. Blake Keene won the 110M and 300M hurdles. Jordan Randall continued his dominance in the high jump, taking first with a 6’6” jump. Cooper Hummitch won the pole vault.
Warsaw is at home Friday, hosting the Max Truex Invitational.
Boys Golf
Tippecanoe Valley at Mishawaka

Tippecanoe Valley picked up a road win against Mishawaka Wednesday night, winning 165-183.
Eli Love and Ethan Young shared medalist honors, each finishing their evening with a 39. Wes Parker made it an all-Valley top three, shooting a 40. Nash Bouse shot a 46.
Girls Tennis

Warsaw is still undefeated in the Northern Lakes Conference with a 5-0 win over Mishawaka Wednesday. The Lady Tigers are now 4-1 this season, 3-0 in the NLC.
The three singles players for Warsaw were perfect in their matches, with No. 1 Addie Lind, No. 2 Abby Nicholas and No. 3 Emma VanPuffelen each winning 6-0, 6-0. The No. 1 doubles pairing of Claire Reichenbach and Clara Porter won 6-2, 6-0 while the No. 2 duo of Lucy Ray and Whitney Dawson won 6-1, 6-0.
Northwestern at Manchester
Manchester remains undefeated this spring after defeating Northwestern 4-1 at home Wednesday. The Lady Squires are now 4-0 this season.
No. 2 singles player Sarah Kerlin won her match 6-0, 6-2 while No. 3 Bethany Penrod won 6-0, 6-1. The No. 1 doubles pairing of Carleigh Blevins and Addison Brubaker won 6-0, 6-1.
Manchester is at Whitko on Tuesday.
Boys Basketball
Warsaw’s Bricker Commits To Grace

Warsaw standout Luke Bricker announced on social media his commitment to Grace College to play basketball. As a junior this past season, led the Tigers with 15.9 points per game and 4.5 rebounds a night.

Warsaw at Northridge
