SOUTH BEND – Newsweek recently announced the results of a survey conducted in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, which recognized 1st Source Bank as one of "America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families 2023." According to Newsweek, over 224,000 completed company reviews by employees who work for companies employing at least 1,000 employees in the U.S. determined the results of the list. 1st Source is one of only 10 companies headquartered in Indiana to make the list and received a four-star rating (out of five stars).
"We are overjoyed to be named among the country's greatest workplaces for parents and families for many reasons, chief among them being we know what that ranking means for the peace of mind of our colleagues in their daily lives," says Dan Lifferth, human resources group head for 1st Source Bank. "We're proud to offer a culture that lifts families up, and helps parents strike the right balance with their professional and personal duties, which in turn offers a level of peace to them and their loved ones that helps everyone thrive. Families are so important to our communities, and to this bank and the values we live by, so it touches my heart to receive this recognition."
According to the Newsweek article on the rankings, the "800 family-friendly companies" included in the list "are lauded by their employees for being great places to work."
