FORT WAYNE – For the second consecutive year, Parkview Health has been named one of the Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker’s Healthcare.
Becker’s annual list is generated based on submitted nominations and editorial research conducted by its staff. Organizations on the list – which include health systems as well as other healthcare providers such as insurers, biotechnology and medtech firms, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare solutions vendors – prioritize workplace excellence and the happiness, satisfaction, well-being and fulfillment of their employees, according to Becker’s.
Parkview is one of only two Indiana hospital systems recognized by Becker’s - along with Indianapolis-based Eskenazi Health.
“Parkview’s workplace culture is foundational to providing the best care to our patients and our communities,” said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. “Through systemwide listening tours and a range of opportunities to contribute feedback, Parkview crafts policies that respond directly to our co-workers’ needs. The responsive culture unites our more than 16,000 co-workers across 20-plus counties, supporting them so that they can provide exceptional care to those they serve.”
Parkview has been recognized for its workplace culture multiple times within the last 12 months, including being named the No. 7 Most Loved Workplace in the U.S. by Newsweek in 2024; selected as the No. 18 in North America and No. 19 global best workplace by Inspiring Workplaces in 2024; and chosen as a Forbes Best-in-State Employers for the third consecutive year.
“High-quality patient care comes from high-quality caregivers,” said Dr. Ray Dusman, president, physician and clinical enterprise, Parkview Health. “Creating a workplace that is intentionally supportive of co-workers both professionally and personally enables Parkview to attract and retain great physicians, compassionate nurses and dedicated support team members who all work together to ensure our goal of providing excellent care to every person, every day.”
