• 4:09 p.m. Thursday - Mark Richard Utter, 43, of 1823 Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $5,250.

• 5 p.m. Thursday - Carl D. Porter, 52, of 20673 Amanda Lane, Milford, arrested for check deception. Bond: $500.

• 7:18 p.m. Thursday - Domingo Melendez III, 43, of 404 S. Maple St., #A, Milford, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $350.

• 9:32 p.m. Thursday - Wade Paul Elliott, 48, Argos, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.

• 12:11 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of South Ind. 13 and  East Ind. 14, North Manchester. Car went off road into field, went into parking area and hit utility pole. Driver: Judy K. Nicodemus, 79, East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Nicodemus was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage: Over $100,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 1:54 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of South CR 400W and West CR 100S, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Linda K. Murphy, 77, South CR 600W, Silver Lake; Tyler E. Leiter, 28, Bremen. Injuries: Murphy complained of pain to her entire body; Leiter complained of back pain.  Damage: $50,000-$100,000. KCSO.

• 3:59 p.m. Thursday - North CR 300E, 800 feet east of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Randy O. Kubley, 35, North Gettysburg Court, Warsaw; Mark A. Phillabaum, 62, East CR 1100N, Syracuse. Injuries: Kubley complained of eye pain; Phillabaum complained of shoulder/upper arm pain. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. KCSO.

• 6:01 p.m. Thursday - West CR 400N, 10 feet east of North Meadow Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Lisa D. Beckner, 48, East Main Street, Warsaw; Jovanni Garza, 22, Kuder Lane, Warsaw. Injuries: Beckner complained of pain to the elbow/lower arm; Garza had a fracture dislocation to the knee/lower leg/foot; a passenger in Garza’s vehicle, Juan A. Calderon, 21, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, complained of hip/upper leg pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.
