Against the hosts, the Lady Tigers, now 5-1 on the season, trailed 13-1 after one quarter of play, 18-10 at halftime, and 24-13 heading into the final eight-minute quarter.

Stoddard scored a game-high 12 points in the win over Warsaw, while Carrothers added 11 points, and junior Brooke Lindesmith chipped in with six points.

The Lady Tigers, whose previous low for points in a game was 23 in a sectional loss to Wawasee in 1982, got 11 points from senior Abby Sanner.

Senior Kacilyn Krebs scored three points in the loss, while senior Bailie Stephens and junior Zoe Bergan chipped in with two points each, and freshman Brooke Winchester rounded out the Lady Tigers’ scoring with a free throw.

The 40 points was the lowest offensive output of the season for the Lady Bulldogs, who won their previous four games by margins of 53, 52, 26 and 23, respectively.

Crown Point beat Northridge 47-24 in Saturday’s opening round of the shootout.
