WINONA LAKE - The fifth annual boys' basketball Champions of Character Classic is coming to Grace College on Dec. 18.

Twelve elite high school teams will converge at the six-game classic, held at Grace's Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

The classic features a number of highly recruited students and several ranked teams. Among participating schools are: Columbia City, Wayne, Snider, Merrillville, Central Noble, Woodlan, Blackhawk Christian, Chesterton, Homestead, North Side, Warsaw and Chelsea (Mich.).

Among teams who are ranked in the IBCA Preseason Coaches' Poll are: Homestead, Central Noble, Chesterton, Blackhawk Christian, North Side and Snider.

Tickets are available for purchase now online. Each game will also be livestreamed (HD) online as a pay-per-view option.

The tournament will feature two 3-game sessions. Admittance into each session of the day is $10.

The tournament is named the Champions of Character Classic in order to help promote the IHSAA's initiatives of sportsmanship and character building among high school teams. Each team will also select a Champion of Character Award winner, who will be honored prior to tipoff before every matchup.

Below is the complete game schedule for the 2021 Champions of Character Classic:

SESSION 1

12:00 PM - Columbia City vs FW Wayne

1:30 PM - Snider vs Merrillville

3:00 PM - Central Noble vs Woodlan

SESSION 2

4:45 PM - Blackhawk Christian vs Chelsea (Mich.)

6:15 PM - Chesterton vs Homestead

7:45 PM - FW North Side vs Warsaw
