Nick and Holly Yoder, Leesburg, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Aug. 5, 2011, with an outdoor vow renewal ceremony at Poplar Dell Bed & Breakfast on Amherst Island, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Zander Dunn, minister of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church on the island, officiated the ceremony with friends and family witnessing the event.

The couple were married Aug. 16, 1986, at Union Center Church of the Brethren near Nappanee.

They were high school sweethearts who reconnected 14 years after graduation.

Holly is a science teacher at Pierre Moran Middle School, Elkhart. Nick is owner and operator of Millwood Window Store, Warsaw.

They share a son/stepson, Garth Mason, South Bend.

A reception and a meal followed in a restored carriage shed at Poplar Dell.[[In-content Ad]]
