Max and Margaret Weakly, 308 Arnold St., Bourbon, will celebrtate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Mentone United Methodist Church, hosted by their daughters.

The couple were married Oct. 6, 1946, at EUB Parsonage, Bourbon, by the Rev. Paul Ducker.

Max was a World War II veteran. Both retired from R.R. Donnelley, Warsaw.

Max enjoys local history and photography and Margaret enjoys her gardens and jigsaw puzzles.

The couple have two daughters, Diana Graham, Spartanburg, S.C., and Lee Ann Rock, Mentone; six granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren. Their daughter, Linda, is deceased.

Friends and relatives are invited to the reception. Their love and friendship are precious gifts and no other gifts are requested.[[In-content Ad]]
