Dan and Marcia Stanley, 10325 S. Edgewater, Silver Lake, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Oct. 9, 2011.

Dan and the former Marcia Miller were married Oct. 9, 1971, at Sacred Heart Church, by Father Horvath.

Dan is owner and operator and Marcia is a dispatcher.

The couple have two children, Kresta (and spouse Kevin) Burkholder, Mentone, and Kyla (and spouse Brad) Cook, Noblesville; and three grandchildren.
