Don and Lorene Spice, 2791 Hickory Lane, Rochester, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary April 19, 2012.

Don and the former Lorene Rhodes were married April 19, 1947, in Akron, by the Rev. Daniel Slaybaugh.

Don is a retired dairy farmer and carpenter.

Lorene is a retired dairy farmer and homemaker.

The couple have three children: Dennis (and spouse Linda) Spice, Champaign, Ill.; the late Sharon (and spouse Mike) Reed, Argos; and Susan (and spouse Rick)  Green, Warsaw; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with a family dinner.
