Carl and Edythe Sands, Silver Lake, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary April 26, 2012.

Carl and the former Edythe Didier were married April 26, 1952, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, with Monsignor Charles Girardot officiating.

Carl is a retired principal and farmer. Edythe is a homemaker and a registered nurse.

The couple have nine sons; two daughters; 39 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. A reception is planned with family and friends.[[In-content Ad]]
