Wayne and Bernice Reese will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 8, 2011.

Wayne and Bernice Thompson were married Oct. 8, 1947, at the Rochester Church of God parsonage.

Wayne retired from truck driving and Bernice worked at Hart Shaftner & Marks.

They have three sons: the late Calvin (and spouse Laura), Orville (and friend Sandy) and Randy (and spouse Roseanna); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
