 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 8:20 a.m. Tuesday – James Anthony Brewer Jr., 37, of 111 S. Wood St., Warsaw, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $300.
n 4:32 p.m. Tuesday – Joshua Michael Bellamy, 23, of 1002 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, arrested for criminal conversion. Bond: $20,000.
n 7:46 p.m. Tuesday – Levi Jackson Yeager, 26, of 920 Anchorage Road 60, Warsaw, arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon and two counts of failure to appear. Bond: $2,000.
n 10:27 p.m. Tuesday – Brandon Jones, 26, Marion, arrested for possession of marijuana. No bond set.

n 8:58 p.m. Tuesday – 9415 E. Crooked Mile Road, Cromwell. Vehicle left roadway and entered ditch. Driver: Heather A. Moore, 30, CR 950N, Syracuse. Injuries: Moore had minor bleeding and her passengers, Karli Moore, 7, and Miranda Moore, 12, complained of neck pain. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

n 9:49 a.m. Tuesday – 1500 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Carissa M. Bell, 30, Coventry Court, Warsaw; Tony E. Lloyd, 67, Bobwhite Drive, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 5:11 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and Springhill Road. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: David M. Crowell, 53, Saint Andrews Road, Winona Lake; Bruce I. Foreman, 57 South County Road 450E, Pierceton. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.
n 6:27 p.m. Tuesday – 799 Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Jesse V. Johnson, 71, County Farm Road, Warsaw. Damages: $750 to $1,000.

n 2:48 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw woman requested a welfare check in the 500 block of North Bay Drive. WPD
n 3:45 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw man was arrested on a warrant in the 1200 block of Logan Street. WPD.
n 9:33 p.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a fight at the 500 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw. WPD.
n 11:30 p.m. Tuesday – A theft of $150 from a vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
