Larry and Shirley Polk were married June 14, 1952, in the home of the bride’s parents, Clarence and Cleo Tinkey.

They owned and operated a farm machinery business, Polk & Sons Inc., Leesburg.

The couple have four children: Dennis (and spouse Pam) Polk; Tim (and spouse Lili) Polk, Warsaw; and Sally (and spouse Gary) Bailey and Gary Polk, all of Leesburg; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

They celebrated with a large family gathering at their daughter’s home.
