MILFORD – Margie E. Chupp, 88, of Milford, passed away July 26, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor.
She was born March 15, 1925, in Judsonia, Ark., to Frank and Ellen Stevens Nichols. On Aug. 28, 1943, she married Carl Chupp, who survives.
She moved to Indiana from Arkansas in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Clunette United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening and writing letters.
Surviving are a daughter, Bernice Ellen (and spouse Don) Smith, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Richard Allen (and spouse Carrie) Miller, Noblesville, and Tina (and spouse Matt) Layman, Akron; two step-grandchildren, Megan Layman and Matthew Lahn; two sisters, Mildred Blair, Wichita, Kan., and Luella (and spouse Louis) Meredith, Kensett, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Her family would like to thank Hospice Care and Miller’s Merry Manor for the special care they gave her.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiate. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
