John and Joy LaMunion Jennings will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 29 with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at Argos United Methodist Church fellowship hall.

The couple were married June 1, 1952, at Tyner EUB (Methodist) Church by the Rev. Dwight McClure.

They retired after 42 years of farming east of Argos, where they lived for 60 years.

The celebration will be hosted by their five sons and families: Steve (and spouse Mary) Jennings, Rensselaer; Bruce (and spouse Sharon) Jennings, Bremen; Doug (and spouse Carol) Jennings, Logansport; Scott (and spouse Staci) Jennings, Tippecanoe; and Brian (and spouse Cheryl) Jennings, Plymouth; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The couple requests the presence of their friends and family to share their memories.[[In-content Ad]]
