Fred Detwiler and the former Pat Lemmon, 2096 S. CR 400W, Warsaw, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 23, 2011.

The couple were married Oct. 23, 1951, at Grace United Methodist Church, Elkhart, by the Rev. Robert Gorrell.

Fred was a Koren War veteran. In 1964, they went into business as Custom Carpet and continue to stay active in the business.

The couple have two sons, Kenny (and spouse Cindy),  Bloomington, and Larry (and spouse Lynn), Hartsville; a daughter, Sharon (and fiance Ross), Warsaw; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

They will celebrate with family.
