SYRACUSE - Darin A. Hostetler, 42, of Milford, died at 5:45 p.m. Aug. 2, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning.

He was born June 12, 1968, in South Bend, to James S. and Joy M. Faulkner Hostetler, who survive in Milford.

He was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse. He owned and operated Darin's Lawn Care, Milford. He formerly worked for Newmar Corp. and Keystone RV, Goshen. He was a member of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education. He formerly attended Nappanee Missionary Church and First Brethren Church, Milford.

Also surviving are a daughter, Erin Kelsey Hostetler, North Webster; a sister, Angie Hostetler, Milford; a brother, Clark (and spouse Kim) Hostetler, Goshen; two stepdaughters, Kayla and Karissa Auer, both of Syracuse; a stepson, Josh Auer, Milford; and a step-grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Dr. Joe Graham officiating. Burial will be in Felkner Cemetery, Milford.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
