Paul and Cordelia Browning, 8409 E. CR 200N, Pierceton, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Aug. 24, 2011.

Paul and the former Cordelia Fundeburg were married Aug. 24, 1941, in Elgin, Ill., by the Rev. Clyde Forney.

He retired from farming and Westinghouse. She is a retired homemaker and elementary teacher.

The couple have five children, Pamela Shreves, Rita Breedlove and David (and spouse Deborah) Browning, all of Muncie; and Jerome (and spouse Kay) Sponseller and Kathleen Browning, all of Pierceton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

They will have an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 27 at their residence.[[In-content Ad]]
