Boys Basketball
Warsaw at Goshen

Warsaw picked up another conference victory Friday night, defeating Goshen 62-42 on the road. The Tigers are now 12-3 this season, 3-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Luke Bricker led the way for the team with 17 points in the game. Parker Justice scored 12 off of the bench, while Robbie Finlinson had 10.
Warsaw hosts Concord Friday night at the Tiger Den.
Culver Academies at Tippecanoe Valley
Tippecanoe Valley stuck to its winning ways with a home victory against Culver Academies, winning 32-27. The Vikings are now 9-4 this season.
No statistics were available for the game. Valley is at Indianapolis Herron on Saturday.
Wawasee at Mishawaka
Wawasee dropped a tough game on the road Friday night, falling 40-37 to Mishawaka. The Warriors are now 4-9 this winter, 0-3 in the NLC.
No statistics were available for this game. Wawasee is at home Friday night against Plymouth.
Southwood at Whitko
Whitko fell in a conference game against Southwood Friday night, losing 50-39. The Wildcats are now 3-9 this season, 1-3 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Caden Deneve had 14 points, while Davin Day ended with eight. Riley Harman scored seven.
Whitko is at home against Northfield Friday.
Culver Community at Triton
Triton won in blowout fashion Friday night, defeating Culver Community 72-16 at home. The Trojans are now 9-1 this winter, 4-0 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Julian Swanson led all scorers with 13 points. Brady Wood scored 12. Jaden Overmyer scored nine while Gage Riffle had eight.
The two teams will meet once again on Tuesday at Culver.
Girls Basketball
Goshen at Warsaw

It was a senior day to remember for the Warsaw girls on Saturday, as the team won yet again, beating Goshen 90-11. The Lady Tigers are now 18-0 this season, 6-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Joslyn Bricker led the way with 26 points and became the second Warsaw player in as many games to reach the 1000 point threshold for her career. The other player to do so, Brooke Zartman, scored 21. Alexis Neely added eleven points, while Brooke Winchester had eight.
Warsaw faces off against Homestead Tuesday night.
Tippecanoe Valley at Fort Wayne Northrop
Tippecanoe Valley wasn’t able to do much offensively in a loss to Fort Wayne Northrop Saturday, falling 59-28 on the road. The Lady Vikings are now 8-9 this winter.
No statistics were available for the game. Valley is back in action Thursday at Warsaw.
Wawasee at Mishawaka
Wawasee picked up a conference win over the weekend, defeating Mishawaka 51-29 on the road Saturday. The Lady Warriors are now 13-6 this year, 3-3 in the NLC.
Mackenzie Hackleman led her team with 17 points to go with seven assists and five steals. Olivia Horn scored 12 in support.
Wawasee is at Plymouth Saturday.
Manchester at Wabash
Manchester was on the losing end of a conference game Saturday, as the team fell 57-38 to Wabash. The Lady Squires are now 7-11 this season, 1-6 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Emma Walker scored 16 points in the game. Peyton Ream added seven.
Manchester is at home against North Miami Tuesday.
Whitko at Southwood
Whitko remains perfect in conference play after picking up a 52-33 win over Southwood on Saturday. The Lady ‘Cats are now 13-3 this winter, 7-0 in the TRC.
Ally Brown scored 13 points in the win, while Reese Stonebreaker had. 12. Jayma Stonebreaker added eight.
Whitko will host Fort Wayne Wayne on Tuesday.
Girls Wrestling
Warsaw at State Finals

Warsaw Community High School was represented by two wrestlers in the inaugural Girls State Finals.
Mariana Castro picked up a win by pinfall in the opening round of the tournament to advance to the 155 pound medal matches.
Castro’s path from there found rough patches and despite wrestling well, she finished with a 1-3 record for the tournament to take 8th place.
Castro’s junior season record wrapped up at 27-12 with a sectional championship, a regional runner-up, and an 8th place medal at the State Finals.
Kaiah Long competed in the 170 pound bracket for the Tigers.
Kaiah’s short two year career for the Tigers ended in the morning after losing the first match, but was marked with great successes.
Long finished her senior season with a 25-8 record and a 45-16 career mark and was a sectional runner-up and regional champion this season.
