Utonia ‘Toni’ Jean Caudill

Utonia “Toni” Jean Caudill, 75, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at her home.
Utonia was born on May 19, 1949, in Stephens Branch, Martin, Ky., to Ralph Sr. and Emma Jean Layne Perkins. On June 10, 1967, she married Donald Caudill Sr. in Clinton, Va.; they shared 57 years together.

      

Utonia was a homemaker for many years before going to work at Creighton Brothers as an inspector; she then retired after 37 years. She was of the Christian faith, and she enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, crosswords and loved flowers. Utonia was known to be very loving, caring and nurturing to her family and friends. She adored being with her family, especially for family gatherings and holidays.
Utonia will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband, Donald Sr.; daughter, Kimberly (Steve) Kline; sons, Donald Jr. (Kimberly) Caudill, Phillip Sr. (Aminta) Caudill, all of Warsaw; grandchildren: Chelsea, Dereck, Nicholas, Phillip Jr., Jordan Caudill and Brooke (Brent) Unruh; great-grandchildren: Emma Jean Unruh, Macie Unruh and one on the way, Emberleigh; brothers: Ralph Jr. Perkins (Kathy), John Perkins Sr. (Rhonda), Kevin (Kelli) Perkins, all of Warsaw; and sisters: Jackie (John) Driscoll, Donna (Glenn) Burkett, Lisa Chaplin, all of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by one great-grandchild and parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 17 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services in celebration of Utonia’s life will begin at noon on Friday, Jan. 17 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Hurley officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family kindly requests the memorial donations be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels to assist the family with funeral expenses.
