On Friday night, Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) celebrated its third year of partnership with SYM Financial Advisors during the Warsaw boys’ basketball game against Northridge High School.
During halftime, Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert, WCS administrators and school board members gathered at halfcourt to honor Jerry and Steve Yeager, along with the rest of the SYM Financial team, for their continued commitment to supporting students and encouraging school spirit at Warsaw Community High School (WCHS), according to a news release from WCS.
"The SYM team thoroughly enjoys this night with our families. It's special to cheer on our hometown Tigers together," said Elle Turley, SYM marketing manager.
Due to the partnership with SYM Financial, every WCHS student in ninth through 12th grades continues to receive an all-sport pass, giving them access to cheer on their classmates at athletic events. Their sponsorship has also created the “SYM Zone” cheer block.
President of the Cheer Block Leadership Team Ruth Heckaman said, "With all students now having the opportunity to get an all-sports pass, it has made the environment at the games so much better, especially with the SYM Zone cheer block packed with students! It’s amazing to see so many coming together to cheer on all of our teams."
