Girls Tennis Regionals
Manchester vs. Norwell

Manchester girls tennis’ first loss came in the first round of the IHSAA tennis regional at Bluffton Tuesday evening, as the Lady Squires fell 4-1 to Norwell. Manchester ends the season with a 14-1 record, the best in school history.
Sophomore Myla Crozier earned the lone win for the Lady Squires, taking her No. 2 singles match with a score of 6-3, 6-0. The No. 1 doubles team of Carleigh Blevins and Addison Brubaker won their first set 6-3 before dropping the next two 1-6, 0-6.
Manchester will return next season.
Softball Sectionals
Warsaw at Elkhart

The Warsaw softball team saw its season come to an end at the hands of host school Elkhart in the first round of their IHSAA softball sectional, losing 19-0 to the Lady Lions. The Lady Tigers end the season with a 2-22 record.
No stats were available for Warsaw in the game. The Lady Tigers will return next season.
Tippecanoe Valley vs. Knox
Tippecanoe Valley advanced to the sectional semifinals at Kankakee Valley Tuesday night with a dramatic, extra-inning victory over Knox, winning 7-6 in eight. The Lady Vikings are now 10-11 this spring.
Mackaylie Costello and Elise Smith each had two hits and an RBI, with Costello also scoring two runs. Kahlyn Manns and Mylee West each drove in a run for Valley. Dalynne Bussard struck out 13 hitters in the win, giving up five earned runs.
The Lady Vikings will take on Rensselaer Central Thursday night.
Wawasee vs. East Noble
A great season for Wawasee came to an end Tuesday night, as the Lady Warriors fell 4-3 to East Noble in the first round of the Fairfield sectional. Wawasee finishes the season with a 15-10 record.
Haylee Allen had a huge game in her final game for the Lady Warriors, striking out 10 on the mound while also going 4-4 and scoring two runs. Ashlynn Corn had a single, a double and two RBIs. Ava Couture also added a run batted in.
Wawasee will return next season.

Warsaw Takes Down No. 5 Carroll On Penalty Kicks
For the second straight season, the Warsaw boys soccer team’s regional semifinal match would not be determined in regular or extra time, instead needing penalty kicks to decide a winner. This time, the Tigers were able to come out on top, defeating No. 5 Carroll on the road 0-0 (5-4) to live to fight another day.
