Ricky Lee Groves, 53, Leesburg, died at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 31, 2016, in his Leesburg home. He was born Dec. 1, 1962, in Warsaw, to Leland Herbert “Lee” and Mary Ann Birtwhistle Groves. He married Penny Hill on Nov. 15, 1993, in Leesburg He was a Warsaw Community High School graduate and a graduate of Vincennes University with an associate degree in radio broadcasting. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and a general laborer.

D. Lucille Gaither, 96, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, passed away at 5:17 p.m. Oct. 26, 2016.  She was born on July 3, 1920, in Monett, Mo., to Veda E. Taylor Owens and Charles W. Owens. On Oct. 1, 1939, she was married to Berlin Donald Gaither, who passed away on Jan. 8, 2001. 

George Harold Dome,

George Harold Dome, 100, Sidney, died at 4:45 a.m. Oct. 31, 2016, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, where he had been a resident since November 2015. He was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Sidney, a son of Loyal W. and Frances Palmer Dome. On April 24, 1943, he was united in marriage to Norma A. Heeter.  He graduated from Sidney High School in 1934.

David J. Crouse

 David J. Crouse, 87, West Lafayette, passed away on Oct. 28, 2016, while in the hospital fighting an infection. His daughter, Marilyn, was at his bedside.
