After two years, patent examiners this week allowed one of his claims and have sent the inventor a certificate recognizing the originality of his invention. Miller has as yet made no assignment of his patent rights, either for manufacture or exploitation. A vehicle bumper comprises a body bar, light reflecting plates secured to the bar at regular spaced intervals and extending from the upper to the lower edges of said plates. Substantial shaped impressions therein provide light-reflecting facets.
