Austin D. Hauth, 85, Warsaw, passed away peacefully at 11:04 a.m. Jan. 4, 2017, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center.  He was born May 7, 1931, in Warsaw, to Roy E. Sr. and Thelma M. Dunn Hauth. He married Patty J. Gordon on Oct. 3, 1954, in Warsaw. They were married 62 years. He was a 1951 graduate of Warsaw High School and spent much of  his life in Kosciusko County, except for 20 years in Sebring, Fla. He moved back to Warsaw in 2008. He was a tool and die 

Ernest William “Bill” Male,

Ernest William “Bill” Male, 89, Tecumseh, Mich., completed his earthly journey and stepped into eternity with his Savior on Jan. 5, 2017, at Cambrian Memory Care Center in Tecumseh.   He lived the largest portion of his life in Warsaw and Winona Lake.

Robert Eugene “Bob” Olinger,

Robert Eugene “Bob” Olinger, 94, Warsaw, passed away after patiently waiting for God to call him and his wife home at 6:40 p.m. Jan. 2, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, three weeks after the death of  Betty, his wife of 71 years. He was comforted by his family and friends who remained at his side. He was born on Nov. 19, 1922, to Chester and Ethel Pontius Olinger in Wabash County. On May 5, 1945, he married Betty Alice Krichbaum in Warsaw. She passed away on Dec. 12, 2016. He attended Claypool United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. He was a proud NIPSCO employee and retired after 40 years. He then delivered trailers for Franklin Coach Co., Nappanee, for 25 years with his cohort Ted Heaton. He grew up in North Manchester and later moved to Warsaw.  He is survived by his brothers: Clifford, Donald, Ronald and Kenneth Olinger. He was preceded by his parents; a son, David Olinger; a daughter, Lynne Olinger; brothers: Joe, Hirschal, Ruppert, Homer and Loris; and sisters: Delores, Dorothy and Cleo. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Grace Village Chaplain Bryan Benjamin and Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Frank Junior Hoffer,

NAPPANEE — Frank Junior Hoffer, 89, died at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 3, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after a short illness.   He was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Nappanee, to Willard and Lucy Tea Hoffer. On Jan. 6, 1951, he married Carole Lee Heckaman in Amboy. She died June 9, 2011.  He will be cremated.  A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Feb. 18 at Dal-Mar Catering Banquet Hall, Nappanee. The Rev. Sally Cecile McKrill

Sally Cecile McKrill, 82, Warsaw, passed away at 12:13 p.m. Jan. 3, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On Oct. 5, 1934, she was born in Warsaw to Leas and Lois Shock Bunting.  She was united in marriage to Benjamin L. McKrill on Feb. 15, 1953, in Warsaw.
