Lancers Drop DH To Pilots

In doubleheader action on Monday at Bethel, Grace's baseball team was unable to put together all facets of its play. In the opening game, Grace's bats were muted in a 3-2 defeat. In the second game, the Lancers' defense could not keep pace with the team's strong offense in an 11-8 loss. The first game saw the Lancers (10-15-1, 2-6 Crossroads League) produce just three hits. Grace led 1-0 after three innings after Jamar Bray singled and eventually scored in the second inning. The Pilots (12-6, 3-5 CL) countered with two runs in the fourth and a valuable insurance run in the sixth.
