- Libertarian Education - Sheriff's Department - Winona Lawsuit - Combat Infantry Badge - Meningitis - Winona Lake Thanks Libertarian Education Editor, Times-Union: If the residents of the Warsaw School District and the rest of Kosciusko County would like to see a long-term alternative to the current system of public education, they should choose the libertarian solution - separation of school and state.Parents, students and teachers would notice many differences that would come about with freedom of choice in education. 1.Only people with children in schools would be paying the bills, not the general public.

- Property Tax Reform - Gift Of Sight - Man's World - Celebrate Christ's Birth - Good Doctors, Nurses - 'Bad Santa' Property Tax Reform Editor, Times-Union: On Dec.5, the Indiana House of Representatives voted to pass Senate Bill 1, with a goal to provide supposed relief to property taxpayers throughout Indiana.Unfortunately, I feel that this bill does more harm than good, and does not provide the relief that taxpayers have been calling for, and because of that, I voted no on SB1.

- Schiavo's Condition - FCCLA Success - Prescription Law - Comcast Issues - Interesting World Schiavo's Condition Editor, Times-Union: Media reports would lead us to believe that a majority of Americans agree that it was right to withdraw Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. The problem is that the question, in a widely reported poll, was incorrectly asked and led to a biased result. The question posed by ABC news portrayed Terri as having "no consciousness" and being on "life support," rather than an awake, responsive patient with a feeding tube.

- Bugged By Sick Dog - BZA Comment Criticized - Ferguson Remembered - Akron School Thanks - Pitzer Remembered Editor, Times-Union: Speaking of being bugged about something, the April 22 edition titled "Sick Dog" bothers me. First, the lady stated that she or her friend could not detect any signs of sores - then how could the shelter? Second, they did not know the dog had problems and I'm sure (Kay) Amsden and her staff would never have let the dog out if they knew. Third, you stated your friend had to put the dog to sleep and she then informed the shelter of it.Wrong ...Ms.Amsden herself put the animal down ...not a vet.
