PIERCETON — Marvin L. “Bubba” Hartley, 81, Pierceton, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday July 18, 2017, in his residence.  He was born Jan. 23, 1936, to Wallace and Margaret Henry Hartley in Portland. Marvin served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1958. He was an ammunition supply specialist. On Sept. 5, 1970, he married Thelma Farmer in Middletown.  He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton, and American Legion Post 253, North Webster. He has been in Kosciusko County since 1985.

First Annual Lake Games Slated For July 29-30
