NORTH WEBSTER — Albert James “Buggs” Rider Jr., 86, North Webster, passed away at 7:34 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
Brian Winters, 76, died peacefully in his Warsaw home Monday, Aug. 21, 2017. He was born in Rochester. After living a number of years in the New York City area, Brian and his wife moved back to Indiana and made Warsaw their home. He was a retiree of BASF Corp. (Flint Ink), of which he was a supervisor. He was a member of the Warsaw congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen, and his daughter Lori (spouse Marshall) Clevenger, Plymouth. Also surviving are one brother, John P. Winters (spouse Kristie), Wayne, Mich.; and two sisters, Penny Sherman and Susan Watson, both of Oklahoma. No memorial service will be held at this time. AKRON — William “Bill” L. Johnson, 70, rural Claypool, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, near Claypool in an automobile accident. He was born March 26, 1947, in Kosciusko County, to Leroy Jud and Rose E. Miller Johnson. On March 23, 1968, in Columbus, he married Carolyn Pletcher; she survives. Bill was a lab technician at
Juanita F. Boggs, 95, Leesburg, went home to the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. She was born June 18, 1922, to Orrin and Daisy Meredith Tucker in Franklin Township, Kosciusko County. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School, and married Donald J. Boggs on July 20, 1940. Most of their 59 years together were spent in Leesburg, where they farmed, raised their family and were active in the community.
