Lancers Win Crossroads League Title

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – History was made Saturday night for Grace College’s men’s soccer team. Nikola Djordjevic’s goal in the 98th minute won the Crossroads League Tournament championship for the Lancers, who rallied to beat Spring Arbor University 4-3 in overtime.

Grace Slips In Overtime At NCCAA Regionals

An overtime goal handed Grace’s women’s soccer team an early exit in the NCCAA Regional Tournament. The Lady Lancers lost 2-1 in overtime at Concordia in the semifinals of the regional tournament. Concordia advances to play at Indiana Wesleyan in the regional title game; the winner of that game receives an automatic bid to the NCCAA National Championships. Friday’s game in the regional tournament was scoreless through the first 53 minutes of action. Neither team found the back of the net in the first half despite 18 combined shots.
