Lady Squires Drop Non-Conference Contest

Manchester carried a 31-21 lead at halftime, but host Mississinewa bounced back in the second half and earned a 64-55 non-conference girls basketball win over the Lady Squires Friday night. Kennedy Fierstos led the Lady Squires with 16 points, and Eva Bazzoni chipped  in 11 points. Kerigan Hatfield had eight points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Lady ‘Cats Fall Behind Early In Non-Conference Loss

Whitko’s girls basketball team fell in an early hole and never recovered in a 44-27 non-conference loss to visiting Huntington North Friday night. The Lady Wildcats trailed 18-4 after the first quarter and 27-8 at halftime. Ellie Snep had a double-double for Whitko with 17 points and 17 rebounds. Kayla Schipper had six points and six rebounds.
