Thomas ‘Glen’ Allen

Thomas “Glen” Allen, 84, Silver Lake, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Feb. 26, 2018. Glen was born Nov. 10, 1933, to Hatcher and Maudie England Allen. He married Effie Howard on March 12, 1955, in Wabash; she survives. He enjoyed wood working, fishing and hunting. He was a farmer for many years and enjoyed working outside in the garden.

Richard F. Silveus

Richard F. Silveus, 85, rural Mentone (Palestine), died at 8:31 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born July 4, 1932, in Milford, to Floyd and Mary Miller Silveus. On Feb. 8, 1957, in Columbia City, he married Lula F. Setser. She survives. He retired in 1995 from Dana Corp., Syracuse, after 34 years with the company.
