Lee E. Gadson

Lee E. Gadson, 90, North Manchester, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, in Peabody Retirement Home. He was born April 18, 1927, in Marshfield, Wis., to Gail and Alice Miner Gadson. On Jan. 12, 1952, in Rensselear, he was united in marriage to Betty Alberts, who preceded him on Sept. 1, 2017. He was a truck driver and worked for R.R. Donnelley for 19½ years. He was a member of Atwood Otterbein Church.

Susan ‘Sue’ Kay Hobbs

Susan “Sue” Kay Hobbs, 75, Wabash, died at 6:59 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her residence. She was born April 25, 1942,  in Stroh, to Charles and Marjorie McLain Geark. On May 4, 1963, in LaGrange, she married Danny Paul Hobbs; he survives.

Archie J. Caudill

Archie J. Caudill, 89, took the hand of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. His earthly departure from his Silver Lake home was attended by his loving family. Archie was born May 24, 1928, in Riceville, Ky. He was the son of Archie M. and Mary Hackworth Caudill.

Diane Gikas

Diane Gikas, 67, Warsaw, died at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born Sept. 1, 1950, in Martin, Tenn., to Wilber Forrest and Alice Ruth Dilday Felty. On March 17, 1982, in Chicago, Ill., she married Antonio Gikas, who died Dec. 30, 2012.

Milford Library Adult Reading Program Continues Through March

This March, adults 18 and older will continue having the chance to win prizes through reading. Reading Program participants can enter their name into a weekly drawing for each audiobook listened to or book read. It doesn’t matter what you read as long as you are reading: graphic novels, ebooks, audiobooks, fiction, and nonfiction all count.

Robert L. ‘Bob’ Friddle

Robert L. “Bob” Friddle, 87, Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Goshen Hospital. He was born June 9, 1930, in Indianapolis, to Lacel Fay and Eva Lavonne Munden Friddle. He graduated in 1949 from Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis and was a United States Air Force veteran.

Cynthia Kay Brock

Cynthia Kaye Brock, 57, Pierceton, died at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne. She was born Jan. 28, 1961, in Marion, to Walter Ray Sr. and Bernadine Mae Morris Brock. She was a United States Army veteran.
