Norman Wayne Coffman, Saugatuck, Mich., passed away at his son’s residence in Winona Lake at 12:47 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the age of 83. He was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Clifton Wayne Coffman and Rhea Mae Olmstead Coffman. Norman was a 1954 graduate of Howe Military Academy in Howe, then attended the University of Toledo in Ohio. He joined the U.S. Army in 1956 and was stationed in Germany until his honorable discharge in 1960.

Robert Busch, 90, Dewart Lake, Syracuse, passed away at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at home. He was born June 25, 1927, the son of Oliver and Margaret Dubuque Busch in Logansport. On Oct. 15, 1948, he married Betty A. Adams. Survivors include his wife of nearly 70 years, Betty Busch, Syracuse; seven children: Christopher (Mary) Busch, Plainfield; John (Brenda) Busch, Syracuse; Nathan Busch, Minneapolis, Minn.; Calvin Busch, Lawrenceville, Ill.; Rebecca (Daniel) Tusing, Syracuse; Roberta (Roger Rump) Busch, Tucson, Ariz.; and Randolph (Tonja) Busch, Syracuse; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Beverly Anne Hopper

Beverly Anne Hopper, 85, Winona Lake, died at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Grace Village Health Care. She was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Angola, to Carl Leo and Hazel Bryan Barnhart. In September 1951 she was married to James Corliss Hopper, who preceded her in death. 

Mack L. Fetters

Mack L. Fetters, Bourbon, passed away March 27, 2018. Mack, the son of Lester and Ruth Fetters, was born and raised in Bourbon, where he lived his entire life. After graduating from Bourbon High School in 1945, Mack married the love of his life, Melba Koontz, on Easter Sunday, March 25, 1951. They celebrated their 67th anniversary just last Sunday.

Beverly Jane Stieglitz, 90, Warsaw, died at 4:07 a.m. March 25, 2018, in Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw. She was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Leesburg, to Wilbur O. and Mildred Stookey Klopenstein. She was married to Adolph Stieglitz in June 1950 in New Salem Church of the Brethren, Kosciusko County. He passed away in May 1977.

He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Decatur, a son of Jerold W. and Marlene Fuhrer Lobsiger. His formative years were spent in Decatur. He graduated from Bellmont High School. He continued his education at Manchester College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Later, he earned a Master of School Administration from Indiana University.

He was born April 9, 1951, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to George and Alma Robinson Wadkins. On Sept. 28, 1968, he was united in marriage to Donna Gillman, who survives. He worked in the agriculture industry for Creighton Brothers, retiring in 2014.

She was born May 13, 1964, in Rochester, to James and Connie Jo Singpiel Ramsey. She was a homemaker and had worked at Arter’s Drug Store, Akron.
