Angel Share Seeks Helpers, Early Sign-ups

Planning is underway for the 2018 Angel Share program. Angel Share, hosted by Warsaw Church of God, allows children ages 3 to 17 to select a Christmas gift for a parent, grandparent, teacher or other adult in their lives for $5 per gift. Children also make a Christmas card for their gift recipients.

Viking Doubles Team Earns Honor

Tippecanoe Valley seniors Tiphanie Hodge and Makenna Bradley have worked together all season long on the tennis court, winning four matches last week at No. 1 doubles to extend their season record to 14-1. They earned the Times-Union Athlete of the Week honor for the week of May 6-11 together as well.

Geln Kreft

Glen F. Kreft, 76, Tippecanoe, entered heaven to meet his Savior on March 30, 2017.  He was born June 5, 1940, to William and Bessie Kreft.  In 1962, he married Glenda Hartman, who survives. They have three sons: Jeff Kreft, Rochester; Jerry Kreft (wife Shari), Elkhart; and Jay Kreft (wife Katy), Shawnee, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  Surviving siblings are Wayne, Richard, Paul, Bobby, David and Tim Kreft, and sister Barbara Gaines.  He was preceded by his father, William; mother, Bessie; brothers, Donnie, Billie and Jerry VanDyke; and sister Charlene Camper. A memorial service is planned for Saturday at Grace Outreach Fellowship, Tippecanoe. Friends and family will be received at 2 p.m., with the service 3 p.m.  ***** Memorials to Grace Outreach Fellowship building fund.
