LRC Request Approved; Planners Vacate Plat

The request by LRC Products Inc.to vacate a plat in the Rolling Hills Subdivison was approved Monday by the Warsaw Plan Commission members. The only new business on the commission's agenda has a history going back many years. Monday's move created one four-acre lot out of seven lots in the fourth addition of the subdivision. The land is owned by LRC Products.A court decision last year allowed the company to construct outside storage buildings on lots one, two and three, the first three lots visible on the south side of Gilliam Drive, a variance granted by the Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals in January 2000 and contested by the Rolling Hills Property Owners Association, Center Island Development Inc.and several citizens.
