Ultralight Aircraft Crashes; Pilot Dies

Just before 11 a.m.today, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department responded to a fatal accident involving an ultralight aircraft. As of press time, only one person was known to be involved in the accident that occurred in the area of 9307 E.CR 250N, north of Jellystone Park, Pierceton.The identity of the pilot was not released. With the glider fatality and the five-car pile-up on the exit ramp of U.S.30 and Ind.15, (photo, pag e2A) the Kosciusko County Central Dispatch was so busy this morning that Marshall and Fulton counties reportedly were handling 911 calls. No further information was available as of press time today.

Coroner IDs Female Victim of Milford Fire

The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of one of the individuals killed in last week’s structure fire in Milford.

NORTH MANCHESTER - Details are still scarce in the cause of a fire in North Manchester, and the identities of the three men who died in it are unavailable.

Syracuse Man Dies In Fire On Pickwick Drive

SYRACUSE -ÊA Syracuse man is dead after a fire at a residence at 402 Pickwick early Sunday. Syracuse Fire Department received a smoke complaint and a report of a smoke detector going off at 1:17 a.m.Sunday. A fireman was dispatched to investigate and found a campfire burning next door to the 402 Pickwick address. Upon further investigation, the fireman noticed the windows of the house next door appeared black, indicating the house was filled with smoke. A fire crew then was dispatched to the residence and a single victim was found inside. The Syracuse Fire Department is currently investigating the blaze, and further information - including the identity of the victim - was unavailable at press time.

Editor, Times-Union:Obama’s May 13th federal mandate demanding that all  school administrations adhere to and implement his transgender policy; that all bathrooms, locker rooms and showers in schools be accessible based on what a student chooses his or her identity to be, threatening to withhold funding to schools if they don’t comply, by the way is illegal.
