Morton won the 100 yard and grand aggregate on the first day and then captured the 200 yard and grand aggregate on the next day. A total of 26 shooters from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Ontario competed in the first registered match of the season. 50 Years Ago June 26 1957 Kosciusko County 4-H demonstrators walked away with five first places out of a possible eight in the district agriculture demonstration held at Manmouth High School north of Decatur. Both boys are from Syracuse. 75 Years Ago June 26 1932 A freak potato was discovered by M.W. Lucas, of Lakeside Park, as he was taking potatoes from his cellar to plant. Four or five potatoes were found, which were anxious to propagate and could not wait until planted in the garden.
