Area athletes shined in the 2023 IHSAA boys’ track and field regionals on the oval in Fisher Field, and although no local team finished higher than third place in the team standings the athletes’ battles, struggles, and grit abounded throughout a beautiful Thursday spring evening in the Lake City.
