Officials Demonstrate New 911 Technology

Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center was the site Thursday for a demonstration of new technology which could change how emergency dispatching works.

Mickie, the daughter of Bill and Phillis Varney, was chosen from among 11 candidates. 50 Years Ago July 29 1958 Jerry Judy and Alice Keiffer of Sidney High School will be attending the high school journalism institute at Indiana University July 27 to Aug. 9. They'll have classes in copywriting, editing, photography and business management. 75 Years Ago July 29 1933 Kosciusko County and Warsaw continued to swelter in the heat wave with thermometers in the business district registering as high as 104 degrees. Thermometers in the shade registered between 85 and 90 degrees. Hundreds of persons went to the various lakes in Kosciusko County to secure relief from the heat.

K21 Foundation Recognizes Local Health Initiative By WCHS Seniors

On June 5, the K21 Foundation announced it is providing one-time special scholarships to Warsaw Community High School graduating seniors Megan Davis and Kylie Dishman for their efforts in researching, developing and implementing the "Tri-BEST Fitness Fun" after-school program at Leesburg Elementary School.

Warsaw Schools Building Project Will Continue

Even with Dr. Robert Haworth's resignation as Warsaw Community Schools superintendent, Jamie Lake, of Kovert Hawkins architectural firm, said the building project will still go on as planned.
