Yeiter, of Atwood, was one of 20 young men who took oaths as Indiana State Troopers at Stout Field, Indianapolis. Yeiter was immediately assigned to duty on the Indiana toll road in northern Indiana. 75 Years Ago October 2 1933 William Wiggins of 943 E. Garfield St., has a Guinea bean growing on his lot that measures 44 inches in length and 17 inches in circumference. Wiggins secured the seed for the plant from New York state.
