Wawasee Rolls To Pre-Sectional Win Over Valley

In a possible sectional preview, Wawasee got off to an early 12-point lead at the end of the first quarter Friday night and never looked back, defeating Tippecanoe Valley 56-36 in the boys basketball regular-season finale for both teams at the Hardwood Teepee. The host Warriors would go on to outscore their guests in each quarter, with both benches clearing as time ran down. Keaton Dukes paced Wawasee with 17 points and eight rebounds. Ethan Hardy pitched in with 14 points and seven boards, with Austin Miller adding 13 points to the winning effort.
