Biomet Announces Leadership Changes, Reports On Stock Option Investigation

Biomet Inc. announced Friday the preliminary findings of a special committee formed by the board of directors to conduct an independent investigation of Biomet's stock option grants from 1996 to the present.It also announced the actions it is taking in response to the preliminary findings of the investigation, including changes in its executive management.

Nikole S.Friend is valedictorian and Jana L.Johnson is salutatorian of NorthWood High School's class of 1998. With a grade point average of 3.99 out of a possible 4.0, Friend is a member of the Academic Spell Bowl Team, choir and Choralaires.She participated in SADD, Prom Club, Math Club, line dancing, Health Club and Classical Rock Club.She was a cheerleader for three years and was Sweetheart representative her sophomore year.The daughter of Charles and Sarah Friend, Goshen, she plans to attend Purdue University and major in premedicine/sports medicine.
