PLYMOUTH — Penalty kicks were kind to the Warsaw girls soccer team at last week's Class 2A Plymouth SectionalAfter defeating the hosting Plymouth Lady Rockies in a penalty kick shootout Thursday, the Warsaw Lady Tigers (13-2-2) did the same in the championship game Saturday against the NorthWood Lady Panthers (9-5-4).
AKRON – All Indiana elementary schools must develop an Elementary Reading Plan, which had to be submitted to the Indiana Department of Education by June 30. Monday night, Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. literacy coach Kristen Horrell presented Valley’s Reading Plan to the school board.
SYRACUSE – The Wawasee High School baseball team capitalized on some good starting pitching and some shoddy defense by Manchester Thursday in Syracuse.Leading his team to a 6-1 win, Wawasee senior pitcher Joe Fleagle went six innings, allowing just two hits and striking out 10, improving the Warriors to 2-0 while the Manchester Squires fell to 0-2.
