Editor, Times-Union: Due to recent power outage, the City of Warsaw Wastewater Treatment Facility at 794 W. Center Street has experienced a combined sewer overflow, sending untreated wastewater into the Walnut Creek. The overflow point is marked with a warning sign.

HARRISON, Ark. — Norma Whitaker Cassaday, 74, Lead Hill, Ark., passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017.  She was born Sept. 6, 1942. Norma was creative, caring, fun-loving, brave and strong. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help anyone.

Squires Hire Former Asst. As New FB Coach

Athletic director Eric Screeton announced Wednesday  former Squire assistant Alyx Brandewie is the new head football coach at Manchester High School. Brandewie is originally from Minster, Ohio, and was teaching and coaching football and baseball there the last two years. Before that he was an assistant coach and eventually the defensive coordinator under former coach Greg Miller from 2016-18.
